NHCC maintains working relationships with all faith communities including all world faiths found within the state.

Lamarre-Vincent's expertise in policy planning, administration and organizational development has resulted in appointment to numerous government commissions including the study of homelessness, development of family support services, enhanced charitable giving and volunteerism. His most recent activities have been as chair of the state commission on volunteerism and the state leadership team reinventing the delivery of health and human services within the state.

He has served on numerous government and nonprofit Boards of Directors and Advisory Councils as well as providing frequent consultation services to facilitate the integration of the governmental, business, religious, and volunteer sectors. He has been instrumental in the establishment of unique advocacy coalitions whose disparate members may share one common passion for social change in one discrete arena.

Nationally Lamarre-Vincent serves as a consultant on social policy with the National Council of Churches, the National Association of State and Regional Bible Societies, the Children’s Defense Fund, and professional organizations with ecumenical and interreligious concerns. His most recent activity has included work towards the creation of new national inter-religious organizations to address the nuclear danger and the promotion of global peacemaking through local community and congregational efforts.

Lamarre-Vincent has aided in the creation of national networks of state association executives. He has a passion for sharing successful models of collaboration on behalf of a more just, peaceful, and environmentally healthy world.
